Just in! Anambra state governor sets up more than 240 bed isolation center in the state, in a bid to prepare for covid-19

The executive governor of anambra state CHIEF WILLIE OBIANO has today made it know that he has set up several bed isolation center in the state ahead of time and ready to fight against the spread of corona, just in case if it gets to the state, but as of yet no current cases of corona has been recorded in the state

He set up 240 bed isolation center in NYSC orientation camp in the state and 16 other bed isolation center in the general hospital at Onitsha and also round in some other part of the state

The governor revealed this via a post he made in his twitter hander

He wrote

Our 240-bed Isolation Centre taking shape at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Anambra State

When ready, it shall have all needed equipment & beds properly spaced

Same is happening at centres at Awka, Nnewi and Onitsha

Together, we can defeat Coronavirus… Stay Home 2 Stay Alive!

Our 16-bed Isolation Centre at the General Hospital in Onitsha, Anambra State is 98% ready

Like other centres at NYSC Orientation Camp, NAUTH in Nnewi & COOUTH in Awka, it'll have all needed equipment on completion.
